We have enjoyed our time with family but have been struggling with our vehicles.
This month has been a bit interesting. We started out by saying good bye to Stephen. We planned to visit him during the middle of the month at Moody Aviation so we thought that it was going to be a short separation. That did not play out as we thought. You can see by some of the pictures below that we have spent a fair bit of time working on the Jetta to get it ready for our trip. A couple of days before our intended departure date the Jetta died while we were driving it here in town and we have not yet been able to get it fixed; not for lack of trying. We have been looking to get a newer and more reliable vehicle for our travels. As you’ll see below the Lord has provided for us in abundance.
You can also be praying for us as Daniel leaves for Bible school late next week. He is still working most days and we are doing what we can to get him ready for his cross country trek…in his Crosstrek. It will be hard to see him leave. We have really enjoyed having him with us this summer.
Lord willing we will be leaving for our trip down to California soon after Daniel takes off. We will be visiting two of our supporting churches and as many friends and supporters as we can. If you live in California and would like to get together for coffee or a meal then please let us know. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as we can.

Prayer Requests
- Praise for generally good health, time with family here in Oregon, and a house to live in.
- Praise for a primary vehicle for our long distance travels and Pray for our Jetta to get fixed. It goes into the shop on August 5th.
- Pray for safety for Daniel as he drives across the country to Wisconsin for his second year of Bible school.
- Pray for Judith, Timothy and I as we drive down to California to visit supporting churches, friends and family. It has been 6+ years since we have been down there for a visit.
- Pray for Stephen as he is back in the Moody flight program. There have been wild fires around Spokane which have made it hard for him to get his flights done.
- Praise for the EBC and Faith church members here in Dallas Oregon who have blessed us in so many ways.
- Continue to Pray for the Malaumanda church and for Jim as they teach the new church at Minini and grow as a church body in Malaumanda.
